The Bonneville Youth Soccer League (BYSL) and the City of Idaho Falls have announced a joint project to expand the Old Butte Soccer Complex west of the airport in Idaho Falls. The Mayor of Idaho Falls, Jared Fuhriman, and representatives of Parks and Recreation department joined BYSL board members, and youth soccer players to mark the occasion. The project will expand the soccer complex to the north with 14 new smaller fields designed for youth under the age of 12, and will expand the complex to the South with four full-sized fields. BYSL will also kick-off its fund raising campaign, called "Soccer Under the Lights," to fund fencing, a scoreboard, and lighting for one of the fields.
